Corporate background:
Launched in 1905, Standard was associated
with the Busy-Bee-Record, Harmony Record and United Record
companies, all of which came together in 1916 to form the
Consolidated Talking Machine Co. of Chicago.

ornament above the song title has been slightly simplified.
The 'western' Egyptian slab-serif used for
the label name was a product of the mid-19th century.
