Corporate background:
 Beka was one of several record companies owned by German businessman Carl Lindström.
Design: The wood-engraved image of a flamingo listening to a phonograph horn is an odd one (perhaps a take on the Victor dog).

The strap-like band dividing the label is similar to an earlier German record.
