Corporate background:
Beka was one of several European
record companies owned by German businessman Carl
Lindström.
|
Design: Three
women in beautiful gowns gaze across a broad tree-fringed lake
toward a small town nestled at the foot of hills.
One carries a book, another holds a scroll
and the closest, who smiles engagingly at the viewer, is
playing a stringed instrument of the mandolin type.
With such an arresting illustration, the
hand-scripted Beka name, with its cute little flourishes, has
been positioned where it does not interfere.
The curious Beka logo, showing a flamingo
listening to a phonograph horn, has also been downplayed, being
merged into the greenery on the shoreline.
