Corporate background:
Bill Dean-Myatt, the
UK music researcher who kindly supplied this image, notes that
Besttone ‘Rifanco’ borrowed masters from other
labels, including Famous, Diploma and Pioneer.
|
Design: A
delicately-drawn crested canary (‘sounds well’),
carrying a circle in its beak, flies across the wavy rays of
the sun (‘wears long’).
The label is clearly separated into upper
and lower segments.
By the typographic treatment of the
imprinting it is evident that the label is German-made.
