Corporate background:
Made in Germany for a British company,
Lockwoods of London (a greyhound carrying a record is
superimposed over a capital L), for sale in Australia.
That the label should carry this name is
curious: having originally been settled in 1778, Australia was
by this time no longer a colony, having become an independent
Commonwealth country in 1901.

and collector Bill Dean-Myatt.

Design: An
unusually-shaped border keeps the label name and logo separate
from the imprinting area, its flowing line contrasting with the
sharp-pointed stars which separate the blurb from the label
name.
