Corporate background:
Columbia’s ‘Double Discs’
were first introduced in 1908.
Argentinian collector Martín Javier Gorosito, who supplied this scan, dates this release to
1912.
|
Design: The
red, white and blue silk sashes seen in previous labels are
rearranged yet again, this time in realistic fashion, though
pinned beneath a stylized gold medallion.
It is rather unusual for the credit info to
appear in the upper segment with the graphics occupying the
lower.
