Corporate background:
The design concept is identical to that
used by The Continental Record Co., founded by an unscrupulous
American businessman named Winant Van Zant Pearce Bradley.
He would take existing records, have them
electroplated (with any telltale numbers buffed away),
reproduce them offshore and then imported to the U.S. to be
sold at a much lower price than the originals.
In 1909 he was sued by Victor, Columbia and
Fonotipia.
