Corporate background:
Unknown (have info? Please send to info.re.78s@shaw.ca). Music researcher and collector Bill Dean-Myatt, who
supplied this image (not from a paper label, but etched into
the record), notes that it is a vertical-cut 10 inch disc with
a serial number of 710.
|
Design: Two
completely different lettering styles can be seen here; a plain
sans serif for the label name etc., and a very pretty Tuscan
(with forked serifs and ornamental end-pieces) for the line at
the foot.
It is not known what the modern-looking
logo ‘GB’ inside the round-cornered box represents.
