which like this label was also made in Germany for the British
market; whether any connection existed between the labels is
unknown.

straightforward design with understated typography; the
dot-dash border (inspired by bamboo furniture, and popularized
by a growing interest in oriental cultures) can also be seen on
the Brunswick label.
