Corporate background:
‘Ragtime,’ as designated here,
was a style of syncopated piano music originating that
became immensely popular just before WWI, and contributed
hugely to the development of jazz.
Its best-known exponents were Scott Joplin
and Jelly Roll Morton.

border and ornaments are of the late Victorian variety, thin
and mechanical-looking.
The label name is also set in a thin,
mechanical-looking condensed sans serif.
