Design: Similar to the Columbia label of 1908. Red and gold, though popular in Asia as symbolizing health and wealth, is not always the most legible colour combination.
History: Unknown (have info? Please send to info.re.78s@shaw.ca), but judging by the double-note logo, probably a Columbia subsidiary. The label name, 'Nitto,' is probably derived from American slang ("Neat-o"). |
