Corporate background:
Beka was one of several record
companies owned by Swedish-born German businessman Carl
Lindström.
Label scan courtesy of Bulgarian collector Dimitar Malchev.
|
Design: A
gorgeous pseudo-brush lettered logo, complete with swash
underline, in a commercial style that has fully matured
(compare with the same logo from 1914, as well as the
previous page).
Its lines flow smoothly and there is nice
contrast between the fat strokes and the delicate loops.
The fine-dotted border also provides an
excellent contrast for the whole, making for a very powerful
image.
