Beka was a company of German origin, but this label, produced for the Chinese market, bears the U.S. Columbia imprint.

Design: A gorgeous piece of lettering for the Beka logo, with its fat brush-lettered underlining swash typical of early 20th-century advertising (see also Famous, Federal).

The decorative border surrounding the label name is equally imaginative and, stylewise, perfectly in keeping.
