Broderick Record (U.S.A.) / c. 1926

Corporate background:
Unknown (have info? Please send to info.re.78s@shaw.ca). Label scan courtesy of UK music researcher and collector Bill Dean-Myatt.
Design: A richly Victorian-looking design, featuring an ‘Americana’ Tuscan font for the label name, which follows the outer curve in pre-WWI fashion.

The banner-style heading is supported by heavy arabesque ornament, reminiscent of period velvet flock wallpaper.

The use of the word ‘Record’ is also anachronistic in the Roaring Twenties.
