Corporate background:
Tough economic times in the USA after the
end of WWI saw Columbia in financial difficulty.
In 1922 it sold off its British subsidiary.
In 1925, the British branch bought out the
American parent organization.

Design: A
continuation of the 'silk sash' design from earlier years,
overlaid by a couple of gold stripes.
Credit lines and the Columbia logo are
slotted in wherever holes allow.
