Corporate background:
Manufactured by Starr for Connorized, who
made piano-player rolls.
With a strong emphasis on ethnic
music, and being sold from only a couple of outlets in
northeastern USA, its total sales were very modest.
Launched in 1921, it lasted only a year.
|
Design: An
unusual arrangement of swash-underlined capitals sitting on a
semicircular baseline for the label name.
It is also unusual to see curlicued
decoration added to a solid panel, out of which the label name
is reversed.
