Corporate background:
UK music researcher and collector Bill Dean-Myatt, who
supplied this image, notes: “[This label was] first
recorded in Britain, then in Belgium, using masters
from Aco (UK), Vocalion (both UK and USA)
and Gennett (USA).”:
|
Design: The
decorative border gives a folk-art look to the label, which is
accentuated by the roughly-drawn lettering for the label name
and the Victorian-looking logo over the spindle hole.
Areas are defined by thick lines (including
the royalty stamp and serial number boxes, which occupy overly
prominent positions).
