Corporate background:
A Columbia subsidiary, Diva was sold
through the W.T. Grant store chain from 1925 to 1932.
|
Design: The
stylized (and pretty darn ugly) mask might either represent a
female opera singer with a big mouth (often referred to as a
‘diva’), or someone blowing a horn.
A panel containing the label name is
crudely plastered right across its 'mouth.'
