Corporate background:
Label scan courtesy of UK music researcher
and collector Bill Dean-Myatt, who notes that this label appears on an 8
1/4 inch record.
|
Design: The
hard-edged, deep-shadowed capitals of the label name suggest
Art Deco design influences of the era, which had as its central
icon the sun; the preceding fashion of Art Nouveau age had
explored the sinuous curves of organic material, primarily tall
flowering plants such as the lily.
