Corporate background:
Rainbow was the personal line of records by
Homer Rodeheaver, who worked with popular evangelist Billy
Sunday.
Starting in 1920, the label continued to
1926.
|
Design: A
soft watercolour rainbow is used as a music staff, with notes
and words taken from the label’s first release occupying
the bars.
Surprisingly, the word
‘Rainbow’ travels straight across instead of
following an arc shape (which the rainbow image might suggest).
