Olympia (Czechoslovakia) / c. 1927

Design: The image in the upper segment shows the twin towers of Tynsky Church in Prague's Old Town Square (right). Why the label shows this image instead of something associated with the Olympic theme is unknown, likewise why crescent moons appear either side of the label name.

History: Label scan courtesy of music researcher and collector Gabriel Gössel of Czechoslovakia, who writes: "Made for an unknown distributor from Prague, between 1926 and 1927. The repertoire, obtained from Homokord matrices, consisted of Czech and German material."
