Broadcast Four-Tune (U.K.) / c. 1933

back next

Design: A rather old-fashioned underlined script logo, with the royalty stamps patched asymmetrically into the available open space. Beneath the spindle-hole, the typography is well arranged.

History: Originally produced by Vocalion, which was taken over in 1932 by the Crystalate conglomerate. Label scan courtesy of UK music researcher and collector Bill Dean-Myatt, who notes: "This 10 inch record plays for as long as a 12 inch record, with two tunes per side."
