Corporate background:
Founded in 1946 as a label specializing in
jazz, it lasted until 1952.
The label was revived in the mid-60s and
its material reissued on LP and CD.
Design: The
label name peeling away from an off-centre circle comes off
looking rather like a loose strand on a ball of knitting wool.
