Corporate background:
Launched in 1946 as a companion to the
Regis label.
|
Design: Gothic
lettering is frequently used on record labels, because of its
association with tradition and reliability; the word 'Manor'
has a medieval ring to it.
The curlicues on to the letters relieve the
angular severity.
The music staff at the top seems to serve
no purpose other than to fill a blank space.
