The Ravens, formed in 1945, were in the
vanguard of the doo-wop sound in pop music.
Their last chart success was in 1952.
Design: The
label name baseline is set in a very tight arc, the
letterspacing being compromised to achieve equal balance either
side of the ‘O’ which is enlarged to accommodate
the NRC logo.
