Corporate background:
Saunders King, whose name appears below the
label name, was a cutting-edge electric blues guitarist in the
1930s and 1940s.
|
Design: A
beautiful brush script for the main heading which replicates
even-beat rhythm.
This evenness is contrasted by an angular
white stripe suggestive of the American flag, with a single
star, also shown at an angle as if in movement.
The asymmetrically-placed blocks of type
also suggest off-beat rhythm.
