Corporate background:
Launched in 1941, the Standard label
survived into the 1950s.
The label may have had connections with RCA
Victor; the same typeface (Cheltenham) is used for the heading,
with the same double-line border, similar minimalist treatment
of the logo etc.

Design: One
of the few post-WWI labels with the label name following the
outer curve.
A stylized image of a lyre and musical
horns sit above the centre hole, with sprigs of curlicued
decoration either side.
