Design: The visual letterspacing on the label name is uneven, perhaps caused by the wide 'A.' The illustration at the top, showing the Sphinx with pyramids in the background, suggests an Egyptian ethnic market. Silver on a burgundy background would become a popular colour combination in the early 1950s.
