The name 'Alamar' suggests a Spanish derivation (the Arabic prefix 'al-' is also to be recognized in many Spanish place-names from the time of Moorish occupation, e.g. the Alhambra, Alcala, Almeida), but this record of Scottish music was produced in New York State.
Design: The centre hole obliterates part of the nice heraldic coat of arms.

The label name, in hand-lettered Gothic, is shown reversed out of a solid black scroll.
