Corporate background:
An obscure pop music label formed around
1954 in Canada.
Ron Hall,
author of "The CHUM Chart Book" writes: “I am
not familiar with the Alvina label your site shows. The label
color is similar to the Reo label and
the typesetting is consistent with Quality
Records although there is
no mention of Quality Records. The label . . . may have been a
custom pressing made by Quality but not a label from the
Quality stable. The label and matrix number shows there were
only 15 releases to date.”
