Corporate background:
The ‘Aprelovka Zavod’ company
had German capitalist beginnings, dating from the pre-WWI era
(c. 1910). Named for the village where the factory was located,
it came under German occupation during WWII, but after the war
was restarted with Russian management (presumably under strict
government control).
Label scan courtesy of Bulgarian collector Dimitar Malchev.
|
Design: The
five-pointed star (usually printed in solid red) represents
Communism and socialism in general.
It is here seen as a beacon or guiding
light for the nations, emanating flashing rays of light and
sound-waves.
