Thanks for info to Lum Kat (Justin) Theing, who
notes that this record label appeared in the late 1950s.
|
Design: The
Columbia double notes are well-placed either side of the main
line.
Although the same format as the U.S.
Columbia label, the fat, blobby serifs are here sharpened down,
while the outer border is slightly heavier.
The small upper panel carries an evocative
image of a desert scene, mirrored either side of a snarling
Bengal tiger.
