Corporate background:
Launched in the 1940s as a subsidiary of
Decca.
MCA would absorb Coral in the late 1960s.
Design: A
wheel-like record behind a line of bold, stub-serif caps for
the logo, with plenty of space left below for imprinting.
Later Coral records would featured the
trendy silver-on-burgundy colour combination.
