Corporate background:
Founded in 1930 by the American
Sparks-Worthington company, manufacturers of radios,
phonographs and household appliances.
The record division, which pressed and
distributed US Columbia, ABC Paramount and Disneyland records
as well as its own, lasted until 1969.
The Canadian manufactory, as noted here,
was based in London, Ontario, and remains active to the present
day in the field of electronics.

lively brush script style is used for the label name.
The silver-on-burgundy colour combination
was very popular during the 1950s.
