Corporate background:
Music business entrepreneurs Moe Asch and
Herbert Harris were originally in partnership as Ash-Stinson.
After they split up, Asch founded Disc Records and
Harris launched the Stinson label.
|
Design: A
stylized sweeping ‘S’ defines the upper and lower
segments.
The label name, which is relatively small
in size and light in weight, flows into the S shape.
The burgundy and silver combination was
popular in the 1950s.
