Corporate background:
Presumably, the label specialized in
country and western or square dance music.
Record kindly donated by Canadian collector Ed Wolk.
|
Design: The
label name is set in Chisel, an inline ‘Latin’
style of font (so-called because of its triangular-shaped
serifs), which was designed in England in 1939.
The carefully-drawn barn is appropriately
printed in red, since for some reason that colour of paint is
often used for barns.
