Design: The logo remains the same (see previous page) but the graphics have been stylishly modified to work with the single-colour printing; yellow and black is the highest-contrast of all colour combinations.

History: According to ethnomusicologist Alf Arvidsson, of the Umeå university, Sweden, the Karusell label started up in Sweden in the early 1950s as a label for jazz enthusiasts, but was eventually sold to German interests and became more mainstream pop.
