Design: The layout, the work of a designer, is asymmetrical, featuring both horizontal and vertical axes, while the imprinting, done by a printer, follows the more traditional centred style. 'A Discovery Recording' appears in 'Star Wars' fashion, with the lettering in perspective while a shooting star flashes overhead.

History: The company, established c. 1949, apparently obtaining some of its masters from the Discovery label in the U.S.A. According to Canadian collector David Lennick, it was pressed by the Sparton company into the late 1950s. Label scan courtesy of Canadian jazzologist and collector Dave Dixon.
