Design: A conservative approach to what is likely a colourful genre of music. The image of the musician playing his unusual instrument could have been made more prominent.

History:  Senafone produced Ghanaian and Nigerian music for the CFAO store chain (Compagnie Francaise del Afrique Occidentale). UK musicologist and collector Bill Dean-Myatt relates that the label name was registered in Manchester, England in November 1952.
